Punjab is divided into 3 regions: North, South, and Central.

Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan by land area, but it is the least populated one. Azad Jammu and Kashmir has a poverty rate of 24.9%, and its poverty rate is rising. The region has over 18% of the population at risk of going into poverty. Therefore, the government has made 30 BISP Tehsil offices in 10 districts of the AJK region.
