The Government of Pakistan launched a skill development initiative, the Benazir Hunarmand Program, to train low-income people for jobs and business. The Government of Pakistan started this program on June 21, 2025, on the birth anniversary of Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed. The stakeholders in this program are the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan, the World Food Program (WFP), the World Health Organization (WHO), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (German Cooperation for International Cooperation), and Various NGOs.

This is a conditional cash transfer program under the Benazir Income Support Program and aims to transfer the aid from unconditional financial aid to conditional skill-based aid. The program focuses on practical skills like IT, digital skills, and trade work so people can earn through jobs or freelancing.

Eligibility Criteria for Benazir Hunarmand Program

Applicants must meet some criteria to apply for the Benazir Hunarmand Program. Only one person from each family can register for the program.
